The tour starts downstairs, with the Exhibition space, shared social space with kitchen. Then the tour moves into the well-being space with the Pony box massage and therapy space.
Upstairs there is the resident artist space and picture framing facility.
This month at Unit 6 Art club at Unit 6 studios, we looked at the work of Georgio Morandi. Giorgio Morandi (July 20, 1890 – June 18, 1964) was an Italian painter and printmaker who specialized in still life. In discussions we found that due to several of the resident artists use technology or high quality glossy images to create work, the simplistic paintings and muted tones of Morandi didn’t really inspire them. However everyone at the Unit 6 art club did enjoy drawing or painting the still life set up by Sarah. If you would like to join us with Art club, contact. art@unit6.co.uk

Outside our Windows is a painting that feels like its going back to TV Play school with its myriad of windows. The excitement of peering through to the partly hidden bright images behind.
Screaming is his second piece of work.

Many artists feel that they would like to chat about which artist inspires them or maybe what can be learnt from artists in history. So we have started an Art Group. You can find us on Facebook under ‘Unit6 art club’. We will feature an artist each month and use these to inspire, motivate and learn from. When we can meet up in larger groups we will meet at Unit 6 but until then you can simply find us on facebook
