Enea Emiliani
What is the purpose of paintings, since the invention of photography? Do we paint for the viewer, or for ourselves? Does the world need more paintings anyway?
Enea has got these questions at the back of his mind, but tries to forget them when he picks up the brush. Perhaps answers will come.
Enea likes to paint with oil colours, on different surfaces but ideally canvas. His projects tend to start from a feeling, a shape or a colour, and take then different forms as the painting progresses.
